The Eagles moved up one spot to select linebacker Jihaad Campbell of Alabama with the 31st overall pick. Campbell is a native of nearby Erial, New Jersey, and he spent his first three years of high school at Timber Creek — about 17 miles from Philadelphia’s home stadium, Lincoln Financial Field.

The Eagles started the draft with a likely edge rusher and ended it with one. The 6-3, 258-pound Powell-Ryland had just four sacks in three years at Florida before breaking out in his final two seasons at Virginia Tech with 25 1/2 sacks in 25 games.

The QB factory added another. The Philadelphia Eagles drafted quarterback Kyle McCord with the No. 181 overall pick in the 2025 NFL Draft.
