Israel says the remains of the final hostage in Gaza have been recovered, clearing the way for the next phase of the ceasefire that stopped the Israel-Hamas war.
Medical officials in Gaza say Israel has destroyed nine out of 10 fertility clinics in the territory. In addition, embryos that remain are still in danger, despite the ceasefire, due to fuel shortages and a lack of liquid nitrogen to keep them at the required temperature.
MSF said it would not share the list as it had not been able to ensure staff would remain safe.
Gaza’s Rafah border crossing with Egypt is showing signs of activity as Israel says limited travel to and from the territory is expected to resume Monday after years of near-complete isolation.
It marks the last hostage-detainee exchange between Israel and Hamas carried out as part of the first phase of the U.S.-brokered ceasefire reached in October.
