The Defense Ministry announced that the flotilla was making its way to Israeli shores and that all passengers were expected to return to their home countries.
An aid boat carrying Greta Thunberg and 12 other activists which was bound for Gaza has been intercepted by Israeli forces. Thunberg, who set sail on the Madleen boat on June 1 with 11 other activists, said she and the crew on the boat have been ‘kidnapped by Israeli forces’.
Greta Thunberg, the renowned climate activist, joined the Gaza-bound humanitarian flotilla, Madleen, which was recently intercepted by Israeli forces. Thunberg and other members claimed they were "kidnapped" during the incident.
The IDF estimates that the flotilla holding activist Greta Thunberg, the Madleen, will arrive at around 2 a.m. on Monday heading northward. The IDF's naval unit, Shayetet 13, has already begun training for the ship’s boarding.
