The Biden administration kept President-elect Donald Trump’s administration closely apprised of its efforts to broker the ceasefire deal between Israel and Hezbollah that took effect early Wednesday.

President Biden spoke from the Rose Garden Tuesday to tout a cease-fire plan between Israel and Hezbollah — claiming credit for helping broker the agreement after months of fighting.

The Biden administration reportedly briefed Trump's team about the deal, which has been in the works for months.
