In front of hundreds of law enforcement officers from Nebraska and across the country, Nebraska State Patrol Trooper Kyle McAcy was honored and remembered at a funeral service on Thursday.

Serving as a Nebraska State Patrol trooper for a decade, McAcy also volunteered at Children’s Nebraska during his off time.

The funeral procession stretched for miles and included several American flags hanging over the road from firetruck ladders.
