LSU football center Braelin Moore will return to the Tigers for the 2026 season instead of enter the NFL draft.

Former LSU All-American Billy Truax, who played for the Tigers from 1961-63, has died. He was 82 years old. Truax helped LSU to a 26-6-1 record and an SEC championship during his college career. He also helped the Tigers to victories in the Orange Bowl and Cotton Bowl.

Vanderbilt basketball had an up-and-down offensive game against LSU at Memorial Gymnasium on Jan. 10 but still notched an 83-74 win over LSU to tie the program's best start to a season. The 2007-08 team was the last Vanderbilt team to start 16-0.

Clark comes to LSU as a redshirt sophomore. He only threw one pass in 2024, but this season he took over the starting job for the Phoenix. In 2025, Clark completed 56 percent of his passes for 2,321 yards and 18 touchdowns against eight interceptions. He was also Elon’s second leading rusher with 614 yards and 11 touchdowns on 189 attempts.
