Streetwear brand founder Ronnie Fieg has turned a BMW M1 purple, and is building a matching XM that will be on sale soon.

The limited-production XM Kith, the custom M1, and the line of complementary apparel are set to debut at 2024's edition of Miami's Art Week.

This special M1 will be displayed at a special New York event on December 6. No changes have been made to the 3.5-liter inline-six powertrain. Kith’s founder owns several customized BMWs. BMW has partnered with New York City-based apparel company KITH and founder Ronnie Fieg and created a very special BMW M1.

Now, they've teamed up again this holiday season to create an absolutely incredible example of the BMW M division's mid-engined marvel: the M1. Fieg and BMW's archival team set out to reimagine the iconic M1 with a catalog of archival,
