Shiv Sena MLA Gulabrao Patil suggested that the party could have gained more seats without Ajit Pawar's NCP in the Mahayuti alliance. Patil praised Eknath Shinde's leadership, showing no dissatisfaction despite Pawar’s inclusion. As Mahayuti prepares to announce the next Maharashtra CM, Shinde has pledged support for the BJP's decision.

Shinde's claim came while speaking to the reporters on Sunday. After he reached Satara, Shinde complained of fever and throat pain and was put on saline on Saturday. Later, Shinde left for Thane on Sunday evening.

Maharashtra’s caretaker Chief Minister Eknath Shinde said that the BJP will decide the state’s next chief minister, and he will fully support the decision, while asserting that there were no differences among the Mahayuti alliance partners regarding government formation.
