Brigham Young's season ended with Alabama having a record-setting shooting night in the NCAA men's tournament, the future of the program is bright.

America guard, hit the record-breaking 22nd 3 late in the game to make it 97-66 and received a standing ovation from the Alabama fans when he checked out with 10 3s and more than four minutes left to play.

Mark Sears scored a game-high 34 points and Alabama shattered the previous NCAA Tournament record for 3-pointers as the Crimson Tide cruised past BYU and into the Elite Eight.

Four teams advanced to the Elite Eight on Thursday, coming one step closer toward booking a trip to San Antonio. In the West Region, Florida dominated Maryland and Texas Tech used a furious rally to get past Arkansas. Out in the East Region, Alabama kept making 3-pointers against Brigham Young and Duke's offense shined against Arizona.
