Kilmar Abrego Garcia, the Maryland man mistakenly deported to El Salvador, is back in the United States after being indicted in Tennessee on two federal charges involving migrant smuggling, Attorney General Pam Bondi said Friday.

Kilmar Abrego Garcia, the man mistakenly deported from Maryland to El Salvador by the Trump administration, was flown back to the United States to face criminal charges of transporting illegal immigrants within the U.

Garcia has been brought back to the U.S. from a Salvadoran prison to face new charges that he conspired to operate an MS-13 trafficking ring, transporting undocumented Central American migrants into the U.
