Scottie Scheffler heads into the final round of the FedEx St. Jude Championship Sunday without longtime caddie Ted Scott, who returned home unexpectedly for a family matter, according to the PGA Tour.

Ahead of Sunday's final round at TPC Southwind, the PGA Tour confirmed that Scheffler would go with his stand-in caddie Brad Payne. Scott had to unexpectedly head home to Louisiana for a family emergency.

Caddie Ted Scott won’t accompany Scottie Scheffler as he closes out the FedEx Cup St. Jude Championship on Sunday. The PGA Tour announced Sunday morning that Scheffler would go into the fourth round with fill-in caddie Brad Payne. Scott returned home due to a private family matter.
