The Denver Broncos were one of the NFL's stingiest defenses throughout the 2024 season, and improved even more by signing linebacker Dre Greenlaw in free agency. As the Broncos conduct training camp, coach Sean Payton is a big fan of the tenacity that Greenlaw brings to the table.
Greenlaw filled gaps and delivered hits throughout team drills in Denver and head coach Sean Payton said you didn't even have to be watching to know that Greenlaw was the one landing blows. Payton said "you can hear it" when Greenlaw makes a hit and then went on to compare his style to another knockout artist from a different sport.
Sutton originally entered the league with the Broncos as a second-round draft pick out of SMU in 2018. The eighth-year receiver has hauled in 379 receptions for 5,340 yards and 32 touchdowns in 98 career games, including 81 catches for 1,081 yards and eight touchdowns playing with quarterback Bo Nix last fall.
