A tornado leaves a Nevada, Missouri, family seeking donations to rebuild after losing their home.

At 2:24 p.m. on Tuesday, the NWS Sacramento CA issued a tornado warning in effect until 3:15 p.m. for Nevada and Yuba counties.

The National Weather Service said the tornado - which cut a path through Nevada, Missouri - extended nearly 17 miles and had a width of 600 yards. Maximum wind speeds reached nearly 100 mph.
