FRISCO, Texas -- Eight-time Pro Bowl left tackle Tyron Smith knew in his gut that the Dallas Cowboys were home when he arrived on his pre-draft visit 14 years ago back in 2011 before going ninth overall in the draft out of USC.

Tyron Smith was one of the NFL's best offensive tackles during his 14-year NFL career, the first 13 seasons of which he spent with the Dallas Cowboys. Smith made five total All-Pro teams and eight Pro Bowls, and was selected as a member of the league's 2010s All-Decade team.

Tyron Smith has signed a ceremonial contract allowing the standout left tackle to retire with the Dallas Cowboys.
