Henry Dangar (1796–1861) was a surveyor and explorer of Australia in the early period of British colonisation. Despite an upheld challenge to some of his early land claims, he received huge land grants.

Henry Dangar (1796-1861), surveyor and pastoralist, was born on 18 November 1796 at St Neot, Cornwall, England, the son of William Dangar and his wife Judith, daughter of John Hooper. He was the first of six brothers to emigrate as free settlers to New South Wales.
