100 years ago, RRS Discovery set off on a voyage to Antarctica which began the modern era of British oceanographic research and conservation. A new exhibition in Hartley library tells the story of the ship and the lives of those who sailed on board. It features a recreation of the ship’s hull, which our scientists have been rigorously testing in our towing tank.
