October 5, 1984- 'Teachers' was released 41 Years Ago Today! Of all the films about high school life that came out in The 1980's, 'Teachers' is one of the more underrated and less talked about of the genre. I loved it. The cast included an 80s who's who of established and up-and-coming stars- Nick Nolte, Ralph Macchio, JoBeth Williams, Judd Hirsch, Laura Dern, Morgan Freeman, Crispin Glover, Richard Mulligan, Terry Ellis of En Vogue, Virginia Capers, Anthony Heald and Royal Dano amongst others.
