I know this might be a controversial choice, but I prefer hand washing my dishes over using the dishwasher. After so much time of it going unused, we decided to remove our dishwasher to make more space for bulk storage. We use so many dishes throughout the day, so I prefer to clean as I cook and after each meal. Many times we wash and reuse the same dishes over and over throughout the day.
